The conference committee is seeking proposals for quality presentations. Proposals should be of interest to public safety communications professionals on topics related to 9-1-1 call taking, police, fire and medical dispatching, stress, first level leadership, telecommunicator training, technical development, operational development, radio systems, PSAP design and emerging technology. We also welcome submissions on subjects that do not directly apply to the above topics, but would be relevant and educational for the attendees.
If submitting more than one presentation, please submit each presentation individually.
This Call for Papers invites any APCO or NENA member, business professional, industry associate and educators to submit a presentation. Your audience will include public safety telecommunicators, supervisors, managers, and 9-1-1 center professionals. Presentations should be 45-60 minutes and target an audiences of 50-75 people.
Interested instructors are asked to submit a biography, instructor's photograph, course title, and a brief description of the course they wish to present.. If selected, the information will be published to the Conference Program, Website, and the Conference web application. Please include any audio/video needs, print-outs, etc. The course outline will be reviewed by the conference committee.
**If your submission is selected, you will still be responsible for your travel, hotel and meals. **
